Mission
The object of the Club shall be to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening and flower arranging; to aid in the protection of native trees, plants and birds; and to promote and encourage civic beauty, conservation and environmental responsibility.

In 1930, the Winchester Garden Club was established by a group of Winchester women, who were friends and loved gardening.
Active membership was limited to 40 Winchester residents, as it is today, so that meetings could be held in members’ homes.

For “Art in Bloom” at the Museum of Fine Arts in April, 2023, Winchester Garden Club members Nancy Powers and Char Peterman interpreted the Vincent van Gogh painting “The Ravine” with this beautiful flower arrangement
