
National Garden Clubs
The Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, Inc. is a member of National Garden Clubs, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization that aims to promote the love of gardening, floral design, and civic and environmental responsibility. They also help coordinate the interests and activities of state and local garden clubs in the U.S. and abroad. NGC headquarters is located in St. Louis, Missouri, adjacent to the Missouri Botanical Gardens.

Membership by a club in GCFM automatically includes membership in NGC, and their meetings are open to everyone if they choose to go. NGC has a newsletter, "The National Gardener." They offer awards, grants and scholarships which come from them through GCFM. NGC has quarterly annual meetings that club members are encouraged to attend.​​​​

A subdivision of NGC that focuses on topics specific to the area, New England Garden Clubs, Inc. consists of the six New England states and has a Regional Director elected every two years. Their headquarters is located in Hapswell, Maine.

Membership by a club in GCFM automatically includes membership in NEGC. A quarterly newsletter, “Northern Exposure”, is offered, as well as an exclusive photography club and classes. NEGC has quarterly annual meetings that club members are encouraged to attend.
