Announcements & News
The Arrangers are gearing up for their 90th anniversary year.
Our calendar year runs from April through our Annual Meeting in Jan. when the new board
will be installed and engraved silver trays will be awarded. We have had 4 inhouse flower shows in the
past 12 years and it is time to plan another. We have an annual summer trip to Ipswich to a member’s summer home for lunch and enjoying flower arrangements by club members. In December we have a
Christmas lunch with often a singalong when we collect our charity donations.

Our award-winning Membership Handbook with the year’s calendar, club and
member information comes out in April. In the past 15 plus years, we have awarded scholarships
to at least 20 HS seniors who are planning on majoring in environmental or horticulture fields of study.
For many years the Arrangers have created and held a “Holiday Greens” sale at the COA
along with a gift boutique of member-donated items which supports our scholarship fund
and yearly donations to local charities. Before Covid the club had several garage sales to generate funds.
Our next garage sale will be in May 2023.

Over the years the Arrangers have been involved at all levels of the Flower Show at the Topsfield Fair,
with our members organizing, judging, and entering ribbon-winning floral designs.
This coming year we will continue to maintain the Memorial Garden
containing many plants purchased by the club in memory of past members and family,
located to the left of the Jacobi Community Center, have a member plant swap,
local field trips, and plan for workshops and speakers.

Our focus for the coming year will be on environmental and sustainability programs
and celebrating our 90th anniversary.
