COURSE I
If you have never attended Flower Show School you MUST begin with COURSE I.
If you attended a part of a series, you only need four months between courses.
No more than two courses can be taken in a calendar year.
In order to receive full credit, you MUST attend the entire course.

The Exam includes ten questions on each of the three subjects.
The tenth question of each subject is taken from the books on the
Required Reading List and the Glossary for Design, pages 139-154
and will not be covered during the lectures.
INSTRUCTORS
DESIGN
MARY HUNTOON
Mary Huntoon is an accredited Master Judge for NGC, Inc. and an NGC Flower Show School Instructor in Design and Symposium. She is also an accredited judge for The Garden club of America in both Design and Horticulture. She currently serves on the NGC Flower Show Accrediting Committee, as well as both the Regional and State levels. For MA, Mary serves at the State Flower Show Schools Chairman and the State Credentials Chairman. She is a Life Member of GCFM, Inc. and NGC, Inc. and a 5-star recipient. She is active with the GCA, as Co-chairman of the 2019 Boston Annual Meeting Flower Show. Mary is past President of the Hamilton-Wenham Garden Club and a past Chairman of MA Judges’ Council. She is a member of North Shore Garden Club, Creative Flower Arrangers, National Flower Arrangers and North Shore Horticulture Society as well as other organization.
PROCEDURE AND HORTICULTURE
SANDRA JOYCE
Sandi hails from Hudson, MA. She is an NGC Master Judges, an Accredited NGC Flower Show Procedure, Horticulture and Symposium Instructor. A former GCFM, Inc. State President (1999-2001) and served on the NGC Flower Show Committee as Symposium Chairman, Horticulture and FSP Chairman, on the Accrediting Committee. She is a member of the Hudson Garden Club, and holds an A.A. from Lasell College and a B.A. from Framingham University. She is a Landscape Design Master Consultant, a Garden Study Master Consultant; has chaired numerous flower shows, including the GCFM section of the New England Spring Flower Show. For over 40 years Sandi owned and operated a floral business and has lectured many groups on design and horticulture. She has taught Flower Show Schools and Symposia from MA to CA, and numerous states in between, throughout So America, spanning 1998 to current.
