4/27/2016 7:00 P.M. Hamilton Wenham GC, presents "MFA Art in Bloom-Flower Arranging Inspired by Art"

Event Description:
Art and Blossoms! Bringing the MFA to Hamilton-Wenham! We encourage you to wear an artful hat. Fashion something with flowers, ribbons, or fruit. Be creative! Prizes will be awarded for the most creative hats! We will jump-start the presentation by providing attendees with a glass of bubbly apple cider and some light bites.

In this presentation, you will hear and see the story of “Art in Bloom”, the Museum of Fine Art’s festival of art and flower arrangements. This will include stunning images of floral interpretations of museum masterpieces.

Next is a live floral arrangement interpreting a work of art. An accomplished MFA senior associate floral designer will demonstrate and share expert flower arranging tips. The evening will conclude with a raffle of the floral arrangements to benefit the Hamilton-Wenham Garden Club projects.

Description: Hundreds of plants, mostly from members' own gardens--everything from groundcovers to small trees. Browse a wide range of our favorite plant species as well as a great selection of Mother's Day gifts! Rain or shine (indoor/outdoor venue).

Our favorite part is swapping plant stories and sharing horticultural advice with our customers. Proceeds fund scholarships for local students pursuing "green" careers.
